The Fay Elberta is an heirloom peach discovered in 1915 in Placer Co., California. With a spicy aroma and a rich, distinctive flavor, this peach is heralded by Slow Food USA as a heritage varietal yet outplanted by newly developed shelf stable incomparable peaches.
Origins
For our collaboration with Fritz Coffee in Seoul, Korea we wish to champion this varietal while highlighting their beautiful coffees - a washed Ethiopia Yirgacheffe Banko Taratu. Chef's Kiss: Serve with Waffles!
